On December 22nd, RAK.social set out to do what we do best — show up with kindness, care, and community spirit. What began in the heart of Qutballapur’s slum soon extended to Miyapur and other underserved areas across the city.
From narrow alleys to open-hearted gatherings, we witnessed something remarkable: how a simple act of giving can light up hundreds of lives.
What We Do
With the support of generous contributors and a dedicated team of volunteers, we organized a series of distribution drives aimed at bringing relief, dignity, and warmth to families in need.
Here’s what the outreach involved:
Essential supplies and donations — clothing, food, blankets, and more — distributed across Qutballapur, Miyapur, and other identified slum areas
Volunteers engaging deeply with each community, offering not just resources, but kindness, presence, and respect
The day was captured and shared — not just to highlight the work, but to show that kindness travels and everyone has something to give
The Impact So Far
Hundreds of individuals across multiple low-income communities received support
Areas including Qutballapur, Miyapur, and others saw smiles return, even if just for a day
Volunteers reported a powerful sense of connection and purpose
One recipient shared: “This isn’t just help — it feels like hope.”
